Blue + Tan Tulu Rug

1,650.00

Tulu rugs are the most utilitarian rugs made by nomads of Central Anatolia. They are mostly done naively and with undyed yarn. The wool is of very good quality and sometimes angora is used. These naively made rugs are usually simple in design and weavers kept the traditional patterns for centuries with some individual touch almost in each piece. They are very tactile pieces as much as visual.
